Where’s Walt-n-Ingrid
Image
Ingrid and I had a great time with a great bunch of folks at 14th Star Brewing Company Eclipse Brews & Views in St. Albans VT. Ended up with 1807 shots for the day so it’ll take a few days or more to get reviewed, edit and post the keepers from each set.

Picked up a new 2x barlow to increase the magnification when the Camera body is mounted on my old Meade 130mm (5.1″) Newtonian Reflector Telescope. Decided to test it out with the Solar filter attached. Real difficult to dial in the focus when pointing at the sun but managed to pick up a couple of Sun Spots in the shot. I think the increased magnification will really pay off when I try it on the moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn later. Hoping I can capture enough detail to be able to identify what they are in the image. My last shots of jupiter was just a tiny blurry dot with 4 even smaller dots near it.
