My wife puts the bird feeders out in the yard sometimes during the day while we’re home (Yea, I know you’re not supposed to do that during the summer months). This particular day, we had gone back into the house for a short while when she says, “Quick, look out the window!” Outside, laying on the ground next to the now pulled down bird feeder, were two medium size Black Bears. While I went to retrieve my camera from the other room, one wandered off into the treeline behind the house. This is a shot of the second bear who hung out a bit longer.  Both appeared to be untagged adolescents.
