Sunday was kind of a kick around day for us. We hung around the campground until mid afternoon before heading out to WalMart for some supplies. I then had to run up to Castle Rock to drop Jim off at home (a local DML member who did most of the local scouting of sites for us). Jim tore a tendon in his knee just before the meet and was hobbling around on crutches. Another member of the group pick him up this morning but because his leg was in a knee immobilizer, he was very cramped and uncomfortable in the back seat of their truck. I offered to give him a ride back home while Ingrid stayed at the campground with everyone else.
About 9PM, we all drove down the mountain to check out one of the tourist traps, Seven Falls.
We took the elevator up to one observation point. Very pretty but too dark to get any good photos. Then after taking the stairs back down, we decided to climb the 224 steps to the other observation points. A real steep climb and took a lot out of us at this altitude.
Back to the campground about 11pm for some time around the campfire, along with a few beverages.
